If a 90 mph 4023ms fastball with a mass of 0145kg is struck

If a 90 mph (40.23m/s) fastball, with a mass of 0.145kg, is struck by a bat, and they are in contact for .005s, find the force which must be exerted by the bat on the ball for the player to make a home run? Assume the ball approaches the bat horizontally, the ball leaves the bat at an angle of 40 degrees above the horizontal, and the distance travelled for a home run is 50m. Hint: use kinematics first to find the velocity with which the baseball leaves the bat, then find the x and y components of the Impulse-Momentum equation to find the force.
