Identity construction and rise of nationalism

Identity Construction and the Rise of Nationalism:

I want a preliminary literature review section on the topic “Identity Construction and the Rise of Nationalism” as a part of my research to explores the construction of the concept of “amyo” in early 19th and 20th century Burmese history; a study on how colonial and Burmese writers understood and constructed notions of race and identity.

The review will have to be written in the format of the following article.

Title: Cross-Cultural Contexts of Modern Muslim Intellectualism

Author(s): R. Michael Feener

Source: Die Welt des Islams, New Series, Vol. 47, Issue 3/4, Islam and Societal Norms: Approaches to Modern Muslim Intellectual

History (2007), pp. 264-282

Stable URL: https://www.jstor.org/stable/20140780

The review will cover the following resources and other electronic resources that I will upload later for the writer.
