Open the website of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) to open the Patient Engagement Playbook. Read the introduction, then scan the information in each of the four chapters. Select one for your discussion comments. In your initial post, identify the chapter you chose and site at least three concepts that have influenced your understanding of the function of the patient portal as an EHR feature. For example, you may cite how these concepts would control staff or patient education in using these portals at your facility.
