Identify the biopsychosocial issues

Problem:

Identify the biopsychosocial issues in this case.

Biological - Homelessness and lack of support can diminish Shanesha's health, causing her tremendous stress due to her situation. After the incident occurred and the children were taken away from Shanesha while she faces possible incarceration, this further degrades her mental health, leaving her depressed and frustrated. Even though Shanesha is now being supported by numerous individuals, resources, and is no longer homeless, her emotional well-being is still low due to being separated from her children (McDonald, 2014). Psychological - Through Shanesha's actions, one can see that she has the drive and motivation to do what is necessary for her family. However, her pride prevented her from seeking help or connecting with resources to support her with childcare, shelter, jobs, and other essential services. Social - Shanesha has the support of her children's father and of the public. Shanesha has three children and is working on her relationship with the father of her kids (McDonald, 2014). After the incident, thousands of people contributed to pay for Shanesha's bail, fundraised $100,000, collected 57,000 signatures for a petition to drop charges, and a lawyer decided to defend her case for free (McDonald, 2014). To add on, the Washington Post news shared her story to raise awareness of her situation and for those who struggle with the same problem. Should she be given a jail sentence? Should her children be taken away? Need Assignment Help?
