Assignment: Mental Health
• Select a scholarly nursing or research article (published within the last five years) related to mental health nursing, which includes content related to evidence-based practice. You may need to evaluate several articles before you find one that is appropriate.
• Ensure that no other member of your clinical group chooses the same article. Submit the article for approval.
Write 2 to 3 pages paper (excluding the title and reference pages) using the following criteria. Your answers should be below each question not a discussion essay which is mixed up. Ensure that you write 550 or more words. Not less.
i. Write a brief introduction of the topic and explain why it is important to mental health.
ii. Cite statistics to support the significance of the topic.
iii. Summarize the article; include key points or findings of the article.
iv. Discuss how you could use the information for your practice; give specific examples.
v. Identify strengths and weaknesses of the article.
vi. Discuss whether you would recommend the article to other colleagues. g. Write a conclusion.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
