Identify specific groups targeted for action

Problem

When writing marketing objectives, remember a meaningful objective should:

1. Identify specific groups targeted for action. To whom will we provide the service? From whom are we soliciting donations?

2. Be realistic. The objectives must have a way to be implemented. The funding, staffing, or volunteer resources required must exist or you must identify how they will be obtained.

3. Be measureable and time-specific. An example of an objective that is measurable and time-bound is: Increase the number of clients we are able to serve by 10% (50 more people) in 2021 and by 15% (75 more people) in 2022. Note the percentage goal is explained in a quantifiable number as well.

4. Choose one important marketing objective from those and determine the steps required to achieve the objective. These steps will form an "implementation plan." This section is all about HOW you will get the objective done.
