Assignment:
For this first component of your SLP, you are to choose a health science-related topic for your "term paper." Choose the same topic you have chosen in Module 1 Case, but it has to meet the criteria noted below. Only students who have received topic approval may proceed to the next section of the SLP 1.
1. Present your topic in 1 to 2 pages, noting the subject's novelty and relevance. Novel - literature on the topic is non-existent, inconsistent, or limited. Relevant - addresses an important health problem, serious, affecting many people, interesting for the research community.
2. Identify an aspect of diversity related to your topic.
3. Comment on the availability of library resources/materials on which you will base your paper.
Length: The written component of this assignment should be 1 to 2 pages long (double-spaced).
Format: APA format is required for this assignment.
