Choose a film we viewed in this class. Make sure to state the title in your response. Name the genre ofthe film, indicate one convention of each: character, plot, theme, and iconography that are distinctive of the genre. Then, for each convention you select, show how the film you select exemplify the genre. As evidence, cite specific scenes that use the conventions. How do those conventions function? Do they allow storytelling to be more rapid and economical? Do they aim to arouse strong emotional responses?
