Step1: Identify a global firm/organization you'd like to investigate.
Step 2: Investigate elements of its corporate citizenship.
Step 3: Respond to the above by addressing the following:
- Which stakeholders are addressed by the firm's department of corporate citizenship?
- What information is easily available on the company's Web site?
- What information can be acquired by emailing someone at the company?
- Why is information readily available for some firms but not others?
Step 4: Identify firms within an industry and compare which firms better address their corporate citizenship responsibilities or publicize their corporate citizenship practices.
Compare other firms within this same industry. Identify those firms within the industry that are at various stages of corporate citizenship. Have any of these firms changed in their stage of corporate citizenship after experiencing a corporate crisis, embarrassment in the press, or change in senior leadership at the firm?
