I feel that the role of public relations can really play a huge role in the making or breaking of a brand or organization. When it comes to freedom of speech, people can often forget or be oblivious to the consequences that the things spoken can have. In recent events, the uproar that was caused by a tweet by Roseanne. The statement made cost her her career, and not to mention the countless people that are out of a job because of her poor judgment. She then tried to retract her statement and blame it on Ambien. How do you think that her PR should have stepped in to help address this and could the outcome possibly have been different?
