Problem 1: Please identify your primary career choice (i.e. what you want to go to school for)
Problem 2: Provide a screen capture of a job posting for your first career choice (make sure that I can read it). You may find a posting in the area newspaper; on the professional association website; in a professional journal; on Fanshawe's Career Services website or on a number of sites offering job postings. Place the image of the posting beneath this question and then reference it in Appendix A, which should be a new page within this document.
Problem 3: Please list below five necessary qualifications listed in the job posting. If the job posting does not include detailed information refer to the professional association, regulatory body or college program website for a list of personal and professional traits and skills that you need to be successful as a health care professional in that field.
Problem 4: From either the job posting or some other source, identify the schedule that the job would require the applicant to be able to work (e.g. shift work, holidays, on-call, weekends, etc.). From the information, are you prepared to work those shifts?
Problem 5: How do you think your main career program/profession will bring happiness into your life?
Problem 6: Please provide two examples of personal characteristics you will need to be successful both as a student in the health career program and later as a health care professional.
Problem 7: Based on the field you would like to go into, have you ever talked with someone or volunteered in that line of work? Was that conversation helpful? If you answered "no" do you plan on talking to someone or volunteering in that field?
Problem 8: Please find two scholarly articles, from the library's online database, that somehow relates to the career that you would like to go into. Once you have found the articles, please only provide the reference in APA format.
