How young adults use social media

Problem: Can you make this seem like it was written by a human: This week, I've been paying more attention to how young adults use social media and how it seems to affect their moods, confidence, and stress levels. It really got me thinking about my main research question, which is: How does social media use influence anxiety, depression, and self-esteem among young adults aged 18-29? I noticed a few patterns that could lead to some interesting qualitative research ideas, especially around how people look for validation, deal with burnout, and find support online. One angle I'd like to explore is how young adults interpret social validation through likes, comments, and followers, and how that impacts their self-esteem or anxiety. The unit of analysis would be young adults who use social media regularly, and I'd want a sample that includes both casual users and small influencers. Using semi-structured interviews would be ideal here since it lets people share honest thoughts about how engagement affects their emotions and self-perception. Another area that stands out to me is creator burnout. A lot of young adults who post consistently for work or personal branding seem to struggle with it. I'd focus on small content creators as my unit of analysis, using in-depth interviews or observation to understand how things like algorithm pressure, comparison, or audience expectations can lead to mental fatigue, depression, or anxiety. On the more positive side, I'd also like to explore how on? Need Assignment Help?
