• Objective: The purpose of this critical reflection essay assignment is for students to demonstrate an ability to employ a line of philosophical reflection to explain and articulate a response to the issue raised by the selected question or topic.

• Directions: Compose an original philosophical essay following the directions below. Clearly explain the issue raised by the question or topic, and explain your position. Give reasons (philosophical arguments) to support your thesis. You are expected to use the arguments, theories, and philosophical understanding that you acquired in this course in your paper.

Steps for the Critical Reflection Essay:

A. Determine a thesis statement; in other words, develop a clear philosophical position on the topic you select.

B. Your essay must make reference of and cite at least two of the philosophers such as Aristotle and other or philosophical theories covered in this course. Cite the appropriate academic sources/references that you have used to construct your thesis and supporting argument

C. Develop clear arguments for your thesis. In other words, try to demonstrate, as clearly as possible, how your supporting reasons and evidence (premises) provide support for your thesis (conclusion).

D. Anticipate the most likely objections to your arguments, and explain how you would defend your arguments against this/these objection(s).

E. Summarize the results of your analysis of the original topic/problem
