Hello everyone,

One of my strengths is my ability to adapt to different environments. I have lived and worked in different countries, so I have experience with different cultures and ways of working. This helped me become more flexible and open to new situations. When I enter a new role, I am usually able to learn quickly and adjust to the environment.

Another strength I have is my logical thinking from my science background. Studying engineering helped me build a structured way of thinking, and I often look at problems from an analytical perspective. At the same time, my personality is more people-oriented, and I enjoy communicating and working with others. Because of this combination, I am able to both analyze problems carefully and also connect with people.

In my past experience, I have worked in different types of roles. For example, my major was in automation, and I had an internship in Denmark at a company called 3D Sharp, where I worked in an engineering-related role. Later, I moved into more business-related work. Now I am working in public service at a Social Services Agency. Even though these roles are different, I was able to learn and perform well in each position.

Going forward, I will continue to use these strengths in my career development plan. I believe they will help me take on new responsibilities, such as moving into a Deputy Public Guardian or supervisor role. These strengths will also help me work with different teams and continue learning in public service.

Class and Professor,

One strength I plan to highlight in my reflection paper is the ability to think through complex problems in a clear and structured way.

I developed this skill during my five years as a Naval Aviation Maintenance Officer in the U.S. Navy. Every day, I had to make decisions about aircraft safety and maintenance. The stakes were high. The information was often incomplete. I could not guess or go with my gut alone. I had to look at the facts, apply the right standards, and make a call I could defend. I did this repeatedly, under pressure, until it became a habit.

This strength showed up directly in this MBA course. When I worked through the Acuwareness cybersecurity case, I looked at each of the four options carefully. I did not just pick the one that seemed easiest. I asked questions. I looked at the costs. I looked at the risks. I thought about what each option would mean for the company in the long run. That process felt natural to me because it mirrors what I did every day in the military.

This strength also helped me handle the harder parts of the case. When the background check situation came up in the scenario, I had to think carefully. The employee's personal situation and the quality of the AI system were two separate things. I kept them separate in my analysis. I did not let one cloud the other. That kind of clear, focused thinking is something the military trained me to do well.

Going forward, I plan to use this strength in my consulting career. I want to work with large companies and government agencies. My job will be to look at their problems and give them clear, honest answers. Clients do not just need someone with knowledge. They need someone who can take a messy situation and make sense of it. That is exactly what structured thinking allows me to do. I plan to keep building this skill through real work experience and continued learning as I move into the next chapter of my career.
