You have been caring for an elderly lady, Mrs Tan, in an aged care facility for over 8 years. You have become quite good friends with Mrs Tan and she tells you that you are the only friend she has. Mrs Tan does not have any family in Australia since her husband passed away 10 years ago. Mrs Tan tells you she wants to give you a gold pendant she has as a gift. Your workplace policies do not allow you to accept gifts from clients.
