Discussion Post: Psychological Disorders
If a parent brought their son Ethan to your office who had a lot of behavioral issues. Ethan had tantrums in the classroom and at home. Sometimes the tantrums were so intense that it was challenging to calm Ethan down at times. There were even times when mom felt scared to be around Ethan when he was so upset. There was an incident last week when Ethan kicked the dog and that was not the first time he took anger out on the dog. Mom just thinks Ethan has issues since his father died but based on the Psychological Disorder list. What psychological disorder do you think it could be, how would you help mom and Ethan understand what is going on?
