Learning is enhanced when you take time to reflect on the process. This week, you will have a journal that asks you to discuss your thoughts in relation to the topic for the unit. Your reflection and writing will help with your understanding of the content covered.
Your response to this journal should be clear, concise, and organized. The expression of information must be well written and original, with few or no errors in format and mechanics.
Multiple relationships can occur even if the professional has the best intentions. Read the "The Case of Macy".
Respond to the following questions:
a) What do you feel are the important ethical issues in this case?
b) How would you, as a human service professional, have dealt with this situation?
c) Identify possible solutions for the therapist to adequately deal with the ethical issue.
d) Discuss your feelings on multiple relationships in the helping field. How can they limit the effectiveness of the professional?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
