Plus, there are rules and laws in place to ensure the safety for everyone. The potential liability of criminal activities for the people committing the crime are: soliciting, trespassing, arson, vandalism, fraud or identity theft. Potential liability for the storage unit if a crime is committed are: premises liability, negligence of property, negligence of security, or breach of duty. What measures can ABC Storage facility can place to prevent future crime? First, you can give out background checks, credit, etc. Secondly, have storage facility security guards at all times of the day; adding more security measures like cameras, alarms, personal, and specific lock codes for each client so you know who enters and does not.
