How to make sure patients received quality care and support


Problem: In one healthcare organization where I worked, the culture was very fast-paced but also centered around teamwork and patient care. Employees were expected to work together closely to make sure patients received quality care and support. There were times when the environment felt stressful because of the workload and the emotional demands of healthcare, but I still felt motivated because many staff members encouraged one another and stepped in to help during difficult situations. I also noticed that when leadership communicated clearly and showed appreciation to employees, the atmosphere became more positive and productive. Overall, the organization tried to create a supportive environment, although there were moments when communication and staffing challenges affected morale by suggesting at least one specific strategy you think HR or other leaders could do differently to foster positive organizational culture in the experience they described.
