I. Karl Marx believed that capitalism was a necessary, if unhappy, stop on the road to a higher order of political economy: socialism. List the inherent, fatal flaws of capitalism (in Marx's view) and discuss how they either have/ have not occurred in the way Marx predicted. (100 words maximum)

II. A structuralist would believe that capitalist control of job-creating industries and the economy will necessary lead to the concentration of political power in the hands of the rich few. Give at least two examples from recent times of how, in your view, the rich have a much stronger political voice than Marx's "workers." Support your examples with further illustration. (100 words maximum)
