For this homework you will submit a 2 to 3 pages paper OR a visual presentation that thoroughly addresses the topic. The purpose of this homework is to acquaint you with the field of archaeology and to assess your writing and/or speaking ability. The options provided below allow you creative flexibility to show your knowledge of the topic.
Instructions
Write a 500 to 750 words essay addressing the following:
1) Research your city, state, or college's archaeological society. Look for the society's newsletter, meetings, or a website.
2) How does that society define archaeology and how does that definition relate to what you thought about archaeology?
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
