How perception of morality is impacted by egocentrism

Problem:

Egocentrism is the inability of both adults and children to consider another person's perspective because they are overly focused on their own. This explains why kids sometimes find it difficult to understand the difference between reality and their own thoughts and why they often get confused about what causes what. All stages of life-infancy, early childhood, adolescence, and adulthood-are marked by egocentrism. According to a textbook example, "Luis is thinking egocentrically when he feels that his 'evil ideas' have made his sister sick or that he caused his parents' marital problems."

Piaget thought that the child's perception of morality is also impacted by egocentrism. The youngster is more concerned with his or her own objectives than the intentions of others because of egocentrism. Are you agree? If yes why, please explain with examples.
