Are either humans or animals hallucinating

Assignment task:

Our reality is created through the use of our 5 senses, e.g., sight, sound, smell, taste, & touch. However, our senses are limited. That is to say, our senses cannot detect ALL forms of energy that exists, e.g., infrared, ultraviolet, infrasound, and ultrasound. However, there are organisms who can detect/perceive these forms of energy, e.g., rattlesnake (infrared), bee (ultraviolet), elephant (infrasound), and dolphin (ultrasound). That being said, whose reality do you believe is truer? Whose reality is more accurate and why?

Please take the following into account. A hallucination is defined as follows:

A sensory perception (such as a visual image or a sound) that occurs in the absence of an actual external stimulus and usually arises from neurological disturbance (such as that associated with delirium tremens, schizophrenia, Parkinson's disease, or narcolepsy) or in response to drugs (such as LSD or phencyclidine).

Regardless of whose reality you believe is truer (humans or animals), are either humans or animals hallucinating? In other words, are humans or animals experiencing a reality that does not exist?
