Thesis: Shopping for a used car can be stressful.
I. The first step is to know what car you want.
A. Look for desired make and model.
B. Find the desired color.
C. Check the body of the car for rust and imperfections.
II. Check for mechanical issues.
A. Pull out the engine oil stick.
B. Make sure the engine is not knocking.
C. Check that there are no leaks on the engine bay or on the floor.
III. Test drive
A. When you test drive make sure you do the acceleration stop test.
B. Drive through some pot holes to check the suspension.
C. It is very important that on the test drive you check for weird noises.
Shopping for a new car can be stressful right? I know it is, but there are a few things you can do when deciding to buy a used car. You can have your mechanic go with you, but if that is not a possibility there are a few steps you can follow.
