Read Andrew Wilson's section on the Symposium. Then, please think about a movie, T.V. show, book, blog, You Tube selection, video game that parallels this ancient Greek activity. There are many examples in our modern culture. As Socrates argues in The Apology, " The improvers of mankind are few while the corrupters are many."
Is our society "corrupted?" How much has it changed from the Golden Age of Classical Greece?
