Do you think Marxism and philosophies leaning more towards this ideology played a bigger part here or was it the exploitation of this ideology by these dictators that helped their view on government?
I found it very interesting to see how many were aware of Marxism and how they used their influence so much so that they were able to establish militant power, which is quite the feat.
