Problem:
The problem that I along with others that I interact with experience is prejudgment. The main characteristic of the problem from the other individual's perspective, is the color of my/our skin. The obstacle that I face getting it resolved, is getting those individuals to see me/us as a beautiful human being instead of seeing my/our skin color as a threat. My goal is to continue to express the importance of our nation being united as a people in general, no matter the race and to see the beauty in diversity. I would solve the problem by continuing to sharing the history of so many individuals that look like me/us that have invented so many tools that we all use in our everyday lives; with hopes of more of an appreciation of my culture. Also, I would continue to be a living example of expressing love to mankind, no matter the difference. Lastly, consider setting up an exercise where those individuals with disdain for other cultures, can go through a real-like experience of the treatment that we have endured, followed by a survey with feedback. I would not need much research to solve this problem at hand, instead I would pull from personal knowledge, environment, and experiences. Also, my/our experience of subjective treatment alone, would justify my solution. What ideas or resources can you share to help your peers craft their solutions?
