Problem: We live in a culturally relativistic world where cultures can differ significantly in terms of traditions, values, lifestyle preferences, spirituality, customs and rules of moral conduct. Is it fair to impose one set of ethical principles upon clients who come from different cultural backgrounds? If not, then how can the use of one set of fundamental ethical principles by the AMH profession be justified and implemented?
