Problem: Program of Study: Doctor of Healthcare Administration (DHA) Problem Statement: Healthcare organizations serving underserved populations continue to experience gaps in patient safety outcomes and quality of care due to misalignment among executive leadership, physician leadership, and nursing leadership, resulting in breakdowns in communication, accountability, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Purpose Statement: The purpose of this qualitative exploratory case study is to explore how alignment among executive, physician, and nursing leadership influences patient safety outcomes and quality of care in an acute care hospital serving underserved populations.
