Select one of the topics covered from the required reading section of Chapter 10 (e.g., managing voluntary turnover, retaining employees, managing job withdrawal, employee life-cycle management, managing retirement, managing dismissals, exit process, downsizing). Then search the web for examples of organizations that have received coverage for their strategic, innovative, or even newsworthy (good or bad) approach to the topic. Examples must be from the last five to seven years. Report back to the class with your example, discussing how the efforts align with the organization's strategy, is innovative relative to current standards, and/or is worthy of discussion (good or bad).
