ERP Across the Supply Chain Start Assignment
A powerful information technology tool is enterprise resource planning software. These large programs are used to plan and coordinate all resources throughout the entire supply chain. They allow data sharing and communication within and outside the firms, enabling collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment (CPFR).
For this assignment, you will create a fictitious example of an ERP and how it can work across the supply chain. Do not forget about the bullwhip effect that can cause communication errors across the supply chain.
