Read the article: "What are some typical misperceptions and stereotypes Westerners hold about Islam and the middle East and vice versa?
Now that you have read about many of the common stereotypes regarding Islam and the Middle East, which stereotypes did you believe to be true? Have your perceptions changed at all?
How do you feel about the common perceptions the rest of the world has about Americans? Where do those stereotypes come from? Are those perceptions harmful to us as a nation? As individuals?
