You may have heard of "helicopter parenting," which is a way of describing a parenting style in which parents are consistently there to schedule and direct their child's day to day activities and rescue their child in times of trial. Although not one of the primary parenting styles, it is widely recognized and discussed. Parenting styles, or approaches to parenting, can have direct effects on a child's self-concept and moral development. Conduct an Internet search to locate information about parenting styles. Remember to look for credible websites as you have for other work in this course.
