One needs to understand how culture can affect business decisions in a global environment. Without understanding the culture of the countries in which you are doing business can spell disaster. There is a long list of companies who made poor decisions based on a lack of information about the culture. As the information about foreign cultures is abundant on the internet, a manager must use due diligence to understand all elements of global cultures affecting their business including business etiquette.
