How can we find the general range of width for human hair

Problem:

I did a little research to lead me to finding the general range of width for human hair, which is anywhere from around 30µm to 180µm... approximately.

I'm trying to compare this to the width of cat hair, since I have been told (and it does seem a bit evident) that cat hair is much thinner than human hair in general.

I can't seem to find any information on this. Does anybody have any answers?

I apologize if this isn't the right Stack Exchange forum for this question. I wasn't sure where to put it, so I did an SE site search for 'cat' and this one seemed to be the most appropriate.

So could someone explain this to me
