Digital Technologies have increasingly penetrated our lives and changed the way we cormnunicate. They also changed the way to learn language. In the era of digital technology. how should we (re)conceptualize cormnunicative language competencies that we want our students to develop? Provide a couple of concrete examples of digital use in our lives and discuss the competencies that you think are necessary to make effective use of such digital technologies in communication. How can language teachers assist students to develop such competencies?
