Problem
Have you ever considered the fact that nurses are not very politically inclined, and this might be why we have so many issues with getting full practice authority or even something as simple as being allowed to do our charting - particularly our care plans - in the electronic health record in the manner we prefer? We never voice our opinion except mostly under cover of darkness and when we think no one will take offense. I wonder why that is.
I am beginning to think we need to have some political activism courses in the undergraduate level. What do you think?
