Discuss Jeffrey Sachs’ analysis of the persistence of extreme poverty and assess the likelihood of success of his approach to reducing/eliminating it, as exemplified (but not limited to) the Millennium Villages (also see the two articles on them under Readings). How does the poverty question relate to the larger themes of his book Common Wealth?
