Problem: Imagine you are looking back at the 21st century from hundreds of years in the future. Give one example of someone who is a moral patient, but is not always recognized as a moral patient in the early 21st century. (Perhaps more people in the future, through better understanding, would recognize them as a moral patient, and laws as well). Explain what criteria you are using to determine whether someone/something is a moral patient. How does the moral patient in your example meet those criteria?
