Problem 1:

Dodo Club is a Mauritian company selling packaged holidays.  The club offers ‘cheerful and cheap’ package holidays to Africa and targets 18-25 age group. Dodo club is planning to add new destinations.  Management would first like to know about customer’s preferences and opinions.  Dodo club conducted marketing research taking into consideration the two types of research designs.   5 focus groups are conducted followed by the survey for data collection.  A sample size of 500 individuals is selected for the survey. Management decision will be based on both kinds of decision.
