Select one electrical appliance from Table 1 to apply the energy consumption as land resistance in voltage regulator circuit as show below 1. Zener diode should be applied in this circuit, Each student has to select different electrical appliances to analyze the circuit measured and simulated result.

Deliverables:

1. You are expected to solve the problem given in figure 1.
2. Simulate the designed circuit using LTPSICE to verify its operation.
3. Compare the calculation and simulation results.
4. You are expected to present your result in the form of a technical report.

1. Find the value of a series resistance R_L to maintain Zener voltage across the load. Zeners always keep voltage and current constant to the load.

2. Determine the voltage supply and the resistance R.

3. Compare the calculation and simulation result of V_R, V_Z, V_RL, I_R, I_Z and I_L.
