A system of 1 lb of R22 (contained in a piston cylinder) undergoes the following process in series:

Process A: Constant pressure from p=30 lbf/(in^2), x=0.95 to a final temperature = 40°F

Process B: Constant temperature process to saturated vapor with W = -11.82 Btu

Process C: Adiabatic exapnsion ending at p=30 lbf/(in^2), x=0.95

a) Sketch the processes on a P-v diagram and a T-v diagram

b) Is this a power cycle or a refrigeration/heat pump cycle?

c) Find the Work, W, and the heat transfer, Q, in Btu at each process. Then find the sum of the work and heat transfer.
