Select an organization of choice and identify core Organizational Behaviour concepts. If you are located in BC, perhaps select a company canadastop100 list. If you are located in other provinces, you may also want to look. If you are new to Canada or located in another country, please feel free to select accordingly.
The best approach is to select a company where you have worked or have a deeper connection. This will allow you to explore the concepts with first hand knowledge, as opposed to writing 'about' a company. With this inside knowledge you may decide to focus on concepts such as:
A. Values and attitudes of individuals (within the context of the organization)
B. Decision making and ethics
C. Communication approaches
D. Conflict and conflict resolution between individuals
E. Teams and group dynamics
F. Organizational culture and change management
G. Organizational structure
H. Organizational change management
As we have covered a vast range of topics, be sure to link to specific concepts and theories covered in the textbook and explicitly highlight. The best papers are those that directly link the theories with the people, teams, and organization.
