The culture of sensibility, an ideology at the height of popularity during Austen's time, was frequently the subject of her criticism and satire, as seen through the behavior of the characters in her stories. For this discussion, do the following:
• Find an academic source that explains what this culture of sensibility was about, and paraphrase it here with a citation.
• Then, identify an example of Austen's criticism of sensibility in "Love and Friendship." Make sure you fully explain it so that the connection between her criticism and the culture of sensibility is clear.
