Discussion Post: Project Charter
You have been assigned as the project manager to oversee a project for your organization for a six-month, nation-wide recruitment program (to hire civil engineers). Part of the project plan is to select a new ad agency to handle the advertising. Your boss wants you to start talking to ad agencies and begin the selection process immediately, but you are insisting that a project charter be established first for the recruitment project. Explain to your boss the importance of a project charter and what could happen if you decided to proceed ahead without a charter.
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
