Starting on page 89 of the Ackerman textbook Figure 2.1 provides an overview of a comprehensive ICS architecture. There are three zones: the enterprise, IDMZ, and the industrial zone. For each of the three zones(enterprise, IDMZ, and the industrial zone) address the following: Using the DID model (page 77) explain the tools and controls you would use for effective design and defense. Explain how your design will address the critical components of risk managment (page 81). Explain how you would ensure that CIA is addressed for each aspect of the DID model (page 66). Some tools/controls may be applicable for multiple zone for example: Encrypt, MFA for devices is a best practice at each level. Some tools/controls are not appropriate for every level for example: physically air-gapping a network.
