Explain the situation and the precursors to the

This week, submit four original scenarios that describe a violation of one of the APA Ethical standards from 1.01 to 10.10.
Hopefully, you have prepared scenarios in previous weeks as you have reviewed various standards.

In working with students, colleagues, clients, and families of clients, there are many ways that ethical violations can occur. These can involve confidentiality, informed consent, competency issues, advertising of services, charging, multiple relationships, etc. Now, you must develop six scenarios in which you describe a violation of one of the APA standards. You must explain the violation and a way to prevent its occurrence and a means to resolve the problem that was created.

Your scenarios should be presented as follows:

1. APA standard affected (one standard per scenario for a total of 4).

2. Two to four paragraphs that outline the situation that includes the following elements:

a. Describe the individual(s) involved.

b. Describe the setting.

c. Explain the situation and the precursors to the setting.

d. Describe what the violation could have been prevented.

e. Discuss the best resolution to the violation.

Length: 5-7 pages

Your scenarios should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to the topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be careful to adhere to Northcentral's Academic Integrity Policy.
