Research Methods
Many times, appropriate research methods and the research design are chosen simultaneously. Research methods may differ based on the study population, purposes they serve, types of data sought, and time relation of variables. Because each design also has its own strengths and limitations, you should carefully consider which design would work most effectively within the research methods you selected.
For this Discussion, select a published study from the Library that uses secondary data and review its research methods.
Post a brief description of the published study you selected. Then, explain the research methods the authors used. Finally, evaluate whether the selected research methods and secondary data sources were the most appropriate and provide your rationale. Support your response with the Learning Resources and current literature.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
