Explain how one communication theory proposed by Waldron and Kelley in chapter 3 of Communicating Forgiveness (2008) might help you think about the process of forgiveness? What does it add to your understanding and practice of forgiveness?
"we believe that the negotiation of forgiveness, the restoration of a mutually acceptable moral code, is a prerequisite for full reconciliation" (Waldron & Kelley, pg. 113, 2008). This brings my attitude toward forgiveness and reconciliation to a different step in my head. What do you think? Please share your thoughts!
