Problem
Different approaches -- Describe the differences between sex and gender. In the study of sexuality, how do strictly medical/biological/evolutionary approaches differ from approaches that seek to contextualize the cultural/social/emotional aspects of sexuality and gender? Discuss how each approach, or a combined approach, can benefit our understanding of sexuality and potentially improve public health. Material is from Singer & Erickson, Ch. 13, by Pamela I.
